Hi Moe,
Help - I have a dilemma. It's Friday morning. Should I get my lazy ass out of bed to go to a job that I hate, where I work with people with no sense of humor, (but get paid to be there).....or should I turn off the alarm and cuddle up under the covers and saw some more zzzzz's (but do not get paid to be there)? I know you will steer me in the right direction.

Don't be a nincompoop. It's okay to hate your job. And if everyone had a decent sense of humor, there would be no need for Moe Howard, now would there?
Get out of bed and go to work. You can always catch a few Z's in the janitorial closet later. You might tie a string from the door to your toe to wake you up just in case someone comes in.
I figure it this way: If you're not out there screwing stuff up, then they can't blame you when things go wrong. If you use this technique, you'll be up for a promotion in no time. Then, you'll be able to wink off for a nod any ol' time, just like the big bosses do.
